Diane J. Crist, 63 of Schererville, IN passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009, peacefully in her home. Diane was born February 19, 1946 in Baltimore, MD. She was a graduate of Indiana University. Diane was a member of MENSA and was former president of the Northern Indiana Art Association. Diane was married to Steven R. Crist for 42 years. They were married December 23, 1967. They have been residents of Northwest Indiana for 41 years. She is survived by her husband: Steven R. Crist; daughter: Jen (Matt) Adams, their children, Cameron and Brett Adams of Munster, IN; son: Jefferson (Christina) Crist, their children: Francesca, Joseph, Caprianna and Isabelle Crist of Glenview, IL; mother: Jane Kubow of Hartsfield Village, Munster, IN; brother: Richard (Betty) Kubow of Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN from 4:00-8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Humane Society of the Calumet Area, 421 45th Ave. Munster, IN 46321, in her memory would be appreciated.
