Diane M. Misch, 71 of Munster, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Alfred; sons, John (Nicole) Misch, James (Nancy) Misch and Jarett (Marcy) Misch; grandchildren, Justine, Connor, Monica, Matthew, Brooke and Evan; brother, William (Joyce) Kirkeiner; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, 2201 Azalea Dr. Highland, IN.
Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Diane graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught for the Hammond Public School System. Diane was an active member of the Immmanuel United Church of Christ, volunteered with Meals on Wheels and helped others whenever she could. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Immanuel United Church of Christ in her memory would be appreciated.
