Dolores Agnes Lotter, 96 ½ years old, went home to her Blessed Mother Mary and her Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma (Bates) and Thomas O’Hearn; beloved husband, James G. Lotter and her siblings, Margaret (William) Quirke (George) Schoeffle, Catherine (Carl) DiSanto and James (Catherine) O’Hearn. Loving mother of Sharon (Kenneth) Goes, Lorna (William) McAuley and Kimberly (Gerald) Backe. Devoted grandmother of Robert (Julie) Goes, James (Andrea) Goes, Susan (Joshua) Neimark, Michele (David) Shalaby, Amy (Daniel) Moroney, Patrick Backe, Timothy Backe and Sarah (James) Bonfitto. Proud great grandmother of Courtney and Lindsay Goes, Trevor, Shannon and Ethan Goes, Jack and Lucy Neimark, Sean and Mary Shalaby, Ryan and Grace Moroney and Emma Bonfitto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dolores was born and raised in Roseland, attended St. Catherine of Genoa Grade School and St. Louis Academy High School. For 14 years, she worked as a leader for the Girl Scouts at St. Catherine and touched many lives with her kindness and leadership. Also for over 50 years, the “Gabsters”, friends from her high school graduating class, met once a month for reminiscing, food and fun. In later years, if Dolores did not drive, club was canceled. As a member of St. Kieran Catholic Church in Chicago Heights, she was also a member of the Women’s Club. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Kieran Church, 724 W. 195th St. Chicago Heights, IL. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, IL at a later date.
