Dolores “Lola” Reyes-Rucoba

April 1, 1934 - April 15, 2012

Dolores “Lola” Reyes-Rucoba, 78 of Lansing, IL passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 44 years, Emilio Reyes; She is survived by her husband: Dr. Richard Rucoba; daughters: Ruth (Rick) Gutierrez and Rosemarie (Edward) Yonushatis; son: Richard (Debra) Reyes; grandchildren: Ricky and Michelle Gutierrez, Eddie, Danni and Nikki Yonushatis, Richie, Brandon and Joey Reyes; great grandchildren: Marc and MacKenzie; sister: Virginia (Tony) Jimenez; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 3:00-9:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, Lansing, IL. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Lola was retired from the Eastside Bank and was a member of St. Ann Church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and dancing. Lola was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions to the Lansing Food Pantry, 2990 Ridge Rd. Lansing, IL in her memory would be appreciated.
