Dolores Young age 79 of Schererville, IN died on June 14, 2017 Widower of Lenny Young. They shared 37 years of marriage together.Born in Gary, IN on September 5th 1937 Venancio and Pauline Sierra. She graduated from Horace Mann High School and was a devoted mother and doting grandmother. She belonged to Saint Thomas More Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and great granddaughters. She spent many mornings talking on the phone with her best friends Sandy Olivera and Laurie Custer. She will be remembered for humor, generosity, and tender heart. She survived by children Patrick (Ethel) Young and Pauline (John) Brett, her grandchildren Valerie (Ivan) Vukojevic, Alex (Phil) Hoffmaster, Rachael Young and Julia Brett.
