Domingo Perez, 72, of Chicago, IL passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Evangelina (nee Recio); sons, Carlos (Nancy), Juan (Monica) and Jose Perez; daughters, Rosa (Francisco) Arreola and Martha (Raul) Gutierrez; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way; brothers, Mario, Jose, Jesus, Luis, Martin, Gregorio and Gerardo Perez and many other family members in Mexico; preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 9:30 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN; Interment, Memory Lane Cemetery, Schererville, IN; Visitation will be on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2:00-9:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and Saturday from 9:00-9:30 AM at the church. Domingo was an Illinois resident for 37 years, retired from American Licorice and was a member of St. Anthony Church. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
