Donald A. Hickey,84, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Anna; sons, Jim (Lynn) Hickey and Mike Hickey; daughter, Michele (Michael) Sullivan; proud grandpa and papa of Lauren, Sean, and Kristen Hickey and their mother, Angelica Hickey, Gabrielle and Mia Sullivan; uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Tom (Lynn) Looney and the late Jack (Kay) Looney. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ruth, his brother Robert, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Theresa and Al Wojnowski.Visitation will be on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster IN; and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 3010 Ridge Road, in Lansing IL. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the Union League Boys and Girls Club, ulbgc.org in his memory would be appreciated.
