Rev. Randall Baptist Forsythe left a message on October 4, 2024:
In 1991, when I joined the law firm of Komyatte & Freeland, Donna was the first person to welcome me to the firm....even though she thought I was taking her position (which was never intended, nor happened). She was so gracious and glad for me to be there. Working with her for over 15 years, her and I never had an argument or cross word. That was the kind-hearted, wonderful person that Donna was. Even after I left the firm, she and I continued with a warm friendship, even though our lives were apart. Through our friendship, I found her to be a woman with a deep faith in God, and fully committed to His Church. Although we are grieved with her passing, we are encouraged and blessed to know that she is now, and forever will be, in the presence of God in Heaven.

Patricia Sharp Valentine left a message on September 30, 2024:
Donna is/was my sister-in-law and someone that I highly admired. l'd like to write a few things about her. Donna honestly was a "super woman." She met and married Mike, they had a comfortable home and together raised their daughter and son. She was smart, determined and dedicated to whatever she undertook to do. After graduating from Bishop Noll, she studied to be a paralegal at the University of Evansville. She worked for Komyatte & Freeland in Highland for many many years, rising to the position of collections office manager. In addition to her career, she was dedicated to a large extended family. After our mother-in-law Dorothy Sharp passed (2015), it was Donna who kept yearly traditions going and made every attempt to keep the Sharp siblings convivial and on "speaking" terms. (Not always an easy undertaking!) I think and hope that she knew that I held her in high regard. And I always will. My deepest condolences to her sisters, her husband and their daughter and son. Indeed, to everyone who knew her and held her dear.
