Dorothy Wilk Jones, 84 of Munster, IN passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014. She is survived by her son, Eric Wilk of Schererville, IN; daughter, Amy (Charles) Zavesky of Munster, IN; grandchildren, Adriane (Adam) Powell of Munster, IN and Ericka Wilk of Wheaton, IL; great grandchildren, Carson and Caleigh Powell of Munster, IN; sister, Nora Santic of Bettendorf, IA; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by husbands Edmund Wilk and Eugene Jones; and one sister, Irene Peterlich. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be on Monday at 9:15 at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Entombment will be at Holy Cross cemetery, Calumet City, IL.Dorothy taught for many years at St. Andrew the Apostle School in Calumet City and was a member of the Phi Epsilon Kappa, Alpha Beta Chapter for over 50 years.
