Dorothy Youngberg, 96 of Munster, IN formerly of the southeast side of Chicago, IL passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012. Beloved mother of Deborah (John) Lewis, Larry (Nancy Clark) Youngberg, Barbara Youngberg and Jeanne Sowa; loving grandmother of Matthew, Paul and Peter Lewis, Nathan and Jacob Youngberg, Jessica Sinclair, Anie Youngberg and Gwyneth Sowa; cherished great grandmother of 3; preceded in death by her husband, Ture Youngberg. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Saturday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakland Memory Lane Cemetery, Dolton, IL. Dorothy was a volunteer at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital and a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Chicago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area or the American Lung Association in her memory would be appreciated.
