Dr. Howard Michael Diamond, 68 of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rochelle Diamond; Cherished father of Sean, Eric and Christopher Diamond and Sarah (Jacob) Johnson; Dearly beloved grandpapa of Brianna Lynn, Jacob Michael Jr. and Chase Logan; fond brother of Harvey (Judy) Diamond and Martin (Bonnie) Diamond; caring brother in law of Janet Weinkranz; Several nieces and nephews; Preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Gertrude Diamond. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Dr. Diamond was the head of continuing education at Community Hospital. He was an active member in many organizations and served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps during the Vietnam War. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Kidney Cancer Organization www.kidneycancer.org or the National Hemophilia Foundation www.hemophilia.org in his memory would be appreciated.
