Edward “Chipper” Stipanich

February 12, 1956 - May 9, 2014

Edward W. Stipanich, 58, of Schererville, IN passed away suddenly on Friday, May 9, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Gayle; step children, Kassandra Lore and Holly (Jason) Harris; grandchildren, Kayla and Xander; parents, Edward and Carol Stipanich; brother, Tom (Pamela) Stipanich; sister, Sandra Gawlinski; niece, Samantha Gawlinski; nephew, Jacob Gawlinski; numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. Chip loved his cats, Sweet Pickles, Peppermint Patty and Squeekers. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 7:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4:00-7:30 PM at the funeral home. Chipper loved to grill, swim and ride his Harley, back in the day. He was a loving husband, son and brother who will be missed by everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a Charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about Chippy's passing. I'll always remember the sound of his hearty laughter and the he could keep a party hopping. My heart goes out to his mom and dad, Uncle Ed & Aunt Carol, his sister Sandy, his brother Tommy, his wife Gayle and their kids, all his nephews, nieces, aunts uncles and cousins. I know we are stunned and very saddened at his sudden passing.
