Edwin M. Banjura, 92 of Munster, IN passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gloria (Zorzi); sons: Mark (Carol) Banjura and Michael (Beverly) Banjura; grandchildren: Michelle (Andy) Morris and Michael Banjura; 3 great grandchildren; sister: Rosemary Kress and brother: Kenneth Banjura. A Memorial service will be on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Ridge United Methodist Church, Munster, IN with Pastor Steve Conger officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Edwin was the former owner of Allied Auto Supply for many years. He was an avid Jazz music lover, the co-sponsor of the Chicago Big Horn Jazz Festivals and founder of the Illiana Club of Traditional Jazz. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
