Edwin Mirowski

Edwin Mirowski, 71 of Dyer, IN passed away on the morning of Thursday, June 2, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (nee Reh); daughters: Tammy (Ken) Lyons, Kathy Cockrell and Suzanne Mirowski; sons, David (Julie), Steve (Belinda), Bobby (Robin) Mirowski and his son with Theresa, Josh Mirowski; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; preceded in death by his son, Edwin Mirowski; brothers, Steve and Donald Mirowski; grandson, Theodore. Visitation will be on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 2:00-9:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. Funeral service will began with a prayer service on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with the funeral liturgy at 11:00 AM at Griffith Lutheran Church, 1000 N. Broad St. Griffith, IN with Pastor Andrew Bailey officiating. Ed was a member of the Griffith Lutheran Church and retired from South Suburban College after 31 years of service as a campus police officer. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Griffith Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated.
