Eleanor I. Rodda, 85 of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully at the Wittenburg Village in Crown Point, IN on Sunday, June 6, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Mark) Watrobka; son, James Rodda; grandchildren, Ryan and Taylor Watrobka, Gage Rodda; numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Albert Rodda and sister, Dorothy Barnett. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Eleanor was an Insurance Agent for 55 years in the Calumet Area. She loved her nickel, dime poker games with her friends and family. She also loved to play the organ and sing. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
