Dear Eileen,As you already know, there are no words I may offer to you to help ease the pain and loss that you are feeling. As Reenie kept us posted day by day on the status of your mom, you and your family were constantly in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God bless all of you at this very difficult time. I was once told by a nun that sharing in the passing of a loved one, is a very sacred time. Perhaps as time passes all of you will realize just what a privilege it was to be with your mother at the time of her leaving this life and passing on to eternal life. How great for her to see the kingdom of God. Let there be comfort in knowing that one day we will all share in her joy.I only met Betty a few times, what a gentle sweet woman she was. I certainly heard many stories and kind words regarding your mom. Please know that if I could have been at the services for your mom I would have been, work just wouldn't allow me to be there and I think it was best for Ma to be there for you. I think the world of you Eileen and I know good people just don't happen by chance, the encouragement and love of your parents have helped make you become the woman you are. With lots of love and prayers too,Betty

To the dear dear Manley Family, I am so sorry for your loss. The world truly has lost a beautiful soul but Heaven has gained an ANGEL. I have read some of the wonderful things that have been written and the common thread seems to be how amazing your family is. I believe that is the best gift that your mom can leave you. I have been Eileen's friend for over 20 years and it is such a joy to be around their family gatherings. From the beginning, Betty ("mom") always made me feel welcome into her house and I continue to feel that way whenever the whole family gets together. They have always made me and my family part of theirs. Betty ("Mom") can only be proud of what she and your dad started and it will continue through you and your families. Please take this time to realize how lucky you are to be so close and how blessed you are to have each other. Keep sharing her stories and inspiring the rest of us. I will always have wonderful memories of mom and will miss her very much. God Bless!

Dearest MOM, Twelve years ago I entered your family and was welcomed with opened arms. You and Dad accepted me and have treated me like a son. My heart now grieves in a way I never imagined it could. I miss you to no end and wish I could turn back time and reverse the outcome of your battle. I wish you were here with us. Mom I Love you forever. Goodbye for now.

Dear Leanie, Tom, Billy Laura, and Dad Manley,Now words can express the heaviness in my heart of the passing of Betty. I know how much she will be missed by all of you but know that God has a special angel with him now. She was such a good mom, wife and grandmother. Her legacy will continue on through each of you and your children. She made everyone who entered welcome and made sure they were well taken care of. I will forever remember "Mom" Manley for the way she always took care of each of her kids and welcomed all of us into her home and close bond that she created for her family.I am blessed, honored and priveleged to have known her.
