Eugenio L. Ylo, 78, of Sauk Village, IL passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol (nee Echavez); daughter, Carolina (Mike) Mapes; sons, Eugene (Terry) and Chris (Julie) Ylo; grandchildren, Cammy, Isabel, Michael, Noelle, Christian, Ally, Jill and Nick; sisters, Lourdes (Dr. Cesar) Gomez, Lori (Vic) Bernardino and Monette (Jess) Liboro; brothers, Gady (Emily) and Bert (Susan) Ylo; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by his parents and brother. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, 22400 S. Torrence Ave. Sauk Village, IL. Fr. David Krolczyk officiating; Interment will be private. Eugenio was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a member of the Leisure Timers and a Eucharistic Minister at St. James Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society or your local hospice organization in his memory would be appreciated.
