Eva M. Duncan (nee Stone), aged 78, died peacefully in her sleep December 20, 2014. She was joined by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Bentley Duncan, in death on February 24, 2015. Eva grew up in Kalamazoo MI. She attended Knox College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She went on to earn her Master’s degree and PhD. at Emory University in Atlanta. She married T. Bentley Duncan on September 1, 1965. They enjoyed over thirty years of service together at the University of Chicago, and upon retirement moved to Whiting Indiana, the Little City on the Lake. She will be missed by all who knew her.Visitation will take place on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until a memorial service, celebrating the lives of both Eva and Bentley, at 5:00 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster IN. Memorial contributions to the University of Chicago would be appreciated.
