Fanny C. Levin, 79, of Springfield, formerly of Calumet City, Illinois, passed away on Thursday October 11, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on December 11, 1932 in Springfield, the daughter of Selig and Mary Glazer Victor. She married Lesser Levin in Springfield at the St. Nicholas Hotel on January 12, 1958, and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1987. She is survived by three sons: Keith (wife Jennifer) Levin of Phoenix, AZ., Steve (Deanna) Levin of Naperville, IL., and Philip (Lorena) Levin of Lebanon, OH., one sister Ida Ruth Victor and one brother Jack (Rita) Victor both of Springfield, six grandchildren: Jackie, Hannah, Nathan, Alex, Becky, and Joshua Levin. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Fanny was an accountant at G and E Furniture in Springfield, she was the manager of Pint Size and Lane Bryant in Calumet City, IL, and she also worked for Holiday Sales in Hammond, IN. She was a member of Temple Beth El in Hammond, IN, Temple Israel in Springfield, and the Temple Israel Sisterhood. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday October 15, 2012 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Rd., with Rabbi Barry Marks officiating. The family will meet friends from 10-11:00am on Monday at the funeral home. Services will also be held on Tuesday October 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN., with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
