Felix was born in San Luis Potosi, SLP, Mexico. At the age of 16 he immigrated to the US, where after high school, he proudly served in the United States Army. He made NW Indiana his home for over 40 years. There he married Rosa, raised a family, became an avid ballroom dancer, and obtained a degree in electrical engineering while working at Inland Steel for 37 years. After Rosa’s passing he moved to Florida. He enjoyed pickleball, table shuffleboard, bridge and was an active league pool player. Felix loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, playing games and listening to music in the Town Square. He spent the last 14 years with his significant other, Therese. Who brought him immense love and joy. They spent many years traveling, dancing and enjoying life to the fullest.
Felix was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many and will be deeply missed. Our dad loved dressing in vibrant colors. We encourage those who can attend any part of the service to wear bright colors in honor of our father.
