Florence M. Phillips, 84 of Spring Hill, FL formerly of Dolton, IL passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Beloved wife for 63 years of Don Phillips; loving mother of Don Phillips, Kathy (William) Beiriger, Cheryl (Greg) Dieterle and Jack (Tammi) Phillips; cherished grandmother of Ryan (Tammy), Adam, Lori (Matt), Jamie, Greg, J.J. and Matthew; great grandmother of Isabelle, Sophia, Emily and Morgan; fond sister of Betty (late Lloyd) Withers, Paul Hobscheid and William (Lauren) Hobscheid; caring sister in law of Sylvia (late John)Hobscheid and Ralph (Ann Marie)Provenzano; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 5:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. James Church, Highland, In with Fr. Keith Virus officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s Assocaition www.alz.org/indiana in her memory would be appreciated.
