Frances B. Kish (nee Gaczewski), 90 of Dyer, IN formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013. She was born in East Chicago, IN the daughter of the late George and Anna Gaczewski; Beloved mother of JoEllen (Larry Bell) Kish, Georgiann (Bob) Murphy, Michele (Rudy) Kish-Sparks and Donna (Dave) Anderson; proud grandmother of Patrick and Meghan Murphy; loving sister of Florence (late Raymond) Prusiecki; fond sister-in-law of Patricia (late Frank) Kish; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Kish in 1974; brother, Raymond Gaczewski and brother-in-law, Fr. Matthew Kish. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Wednesday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrate on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Fran was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church and retired from Community Hospital in Munster. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Share Foundation or a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated.
