Frank Krist, a longtime resident of Munster, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Frank spent many years as a master machinist at Blaw-Knox and then worked for many years at Continental Machine. Dear Diana, Kathy, Mark, Your Dearly Beloved Dad is now receiving all the glorious rewards of Heaven he so deserves. He blessed all of you and touch the lives of countless others with his Christ like Love. Compassion and Service to all with his loving beautiful kind heart, wise mind, every caring ways, joyful happy spirit, and God given talents and gifts. His heart and his Soul have always been dedicated to give His Love, Compassion and Care to his family, his friends, his neighbors and everyone in need of his help, his advice, his big smiles, his support and his laughter to cheer them! He was not only a special cousin, he was always from the days he happily pushed me around in my buggy like a big brother to me. And so he became to our children , much loved and admired “ Uncle Frankie “! As one son said,” Uncle Frankie is as a Legend in our family !” One of our grandchildren pictured him on his school family poster, and the words ,”Me with my Uncle Frankie”, saying , he is special and fun to visit!” How grateful to have been blessed with a lifetime of treasured memories with our dear loving joyful and amazing Uncle Frankie!
