Formerly of Roseland (Chicago), IL
Franklin Richard Galullo, affectionately known as “Papa Frank” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, passed away on November 15, 2024 at the age of 91. Born on September 14, 1933, Franklin was one of seven children, a devout Catholic and a proud Veteran of the Korean War.
Frank passed just one day before his wife Lois, of whom he was married to for 49 years. He is survived by his stepson, Carl (Lynda); grandchildren, Steven (Danielle), Carl III, Charles (Loan) and Gina; great grandchildren, Declan and Caleb; and nephew, James (Lisa). Frank was preceded in death by his stepson, Steven Jesse; and his siblings.
Frank had an unforgettable sense of humor and he brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He will be missed by not only his family, but by very special friends who loved and cared for him like their own.
Franklin’s legacy will live on through all those whose lives he touched.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Church 440 Joliet St. Dyer, IN to honor Franklin’s life and faith. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, IL.
