Frank Timkovich, 88 of St. John, IN formerly of Munster, IN passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009. He is survived by his wife: Sylvia Timkovich; step daughter: Michelle (Robert) Manchak; step son: Marc (Cindy) Suty; loving grandchildren: Jeff and Jen Manchak; brother: Joe Timkovich; caretaker: Linda Lober; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members; preceded in death by his first loving wife: Clara Timkovich; parents: John and Helen Timkovich; 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN and Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. John Evangelist Church, St. John, IN; Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Frank was the former owner and operator of the Shell Gas Station in Indiana Harbor; served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II; was a former member of St. Thomas More Church and member of St. John Evangelist Church.
