I graduated from Morton HS in 61 with Fred and spent a lot of time talking about cars at VanSenus Auto parts with Fred and Don. It seems like just yesterday that Fred had that red Corvette cruising between Kelly’s, the Pow Wow and the Patio drive ins. Time flies but memories last forever. My condolences to all the family. I still fondly remember those days.

I had the pleasure to work for and with Fred VanSenus for 24 years, we traveled together many times as well. Knowing Fred as I do it was with great anguish and surprise, to hear of his passing. The VanSenus family had such a history of longevity, I expected him to be around for some time to come. He was a people person, could remember everyone's name and always made you feel important, a trait many of us only wish we had. I for one thought their would be lots of time ahead for reflection together, only as life will, it didn't turn out that way. My condolences to the entire VanSenus family I will miss Fred, Godspeed.

Very sad to hear about your loss. Although I met Freddy only one time, he made quite the impression. He talked to me like we'd known each other our entire lives, and made me laugh so hard, the libation I was drinking shot out my nose. Wish I could have known him longer, because I feel I really missed out. Thoughts and prayers for all, and I hope you feel comfort that his spirit lives in all of you and those he knew. Much love.
