George E. Szeman Sr, 99 of Munster, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary; son, George (Jane) Szeman Jr; daughter, Linda Campbell; grandchildren: Scott and Laura Szeman, Kelley, Julie and Michael Campbell; great granddaughter: Joselyn Girdner. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. George retired from Youngstown Steel in 1976. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s Research, www.curealzfund.org in his memory would be appreciated.
