She was very proud of her membership in the South Side Christian Church, where she was active in the baby-caretaking ministry. She and her late husband, Robert were active, founding members of the Senior Saints, a Christian outreach program for mature adults of the area. She operated her own program of Christian encouragement through the mailing of birthday, bereavement and get well cards. She was an active contributor, cooking for the ‘feeding the homeless’ ministry as well as the bereavement family dinners ministry. She often helped with the mailing of the church newsletter ministry. We are certain that she has been ushered into the presence of our Lord. In lieu of floral tributes, the family will appreciate your memorial contributions being made in Geraldine’s name, to the South Side Christian Church Memorial Fund 1000 Broadmoor Avenue, Munster, Indiana.
