Gertrude A. Krask, 100 of Munster, IN passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, January 26, 2012. She is survived by her daughters: Audrey (Jim) DeArmond and Jacqueline Lewellen; son-in-law: Bill Bittner; 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; faithful caregiver for the past 2 ½ years: Mulwila “Mo” Katawe; preceded in death by her son: Edward and daughters: Marilyn Abram, Beverly Currie and Virginia Bitner; 2 grandchildren: Mark Bittner and Sue Currie. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Febraury 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 9:00–11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in her memory would be appreciated.
