Giulio G. DiNicola, age 74, of Dyer, IN formerly of Calumet City, IL and South Deering Chicago, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maria DiNicola; daughter, Lucia (Joseph) Bertrand; son, Luca DiNicola; grandsons, Luca, Nicholas and Cody; sister, Innocenza Fabrizio, sisters-in-law, Eva DiNicola, Connie Gonnella, brother-in-law, Giovanni (Rose) Gonnella; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lucia Di Marco and Luca DiNicola; sister, Santa DiNicola; brother, Getulio DiNicola, brother-in-law, Antonio Gonnella, and niece, Lucia DiNicola. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 DIRECTLY at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Charles Niblick. Entombment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery Orland Park, IL Visitation will be on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church on Monday, from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Giulio was born in Montenero Valcocchiara Provincia di Isernia, Italy on June 26, 1941. Giulio was a former employee of Wisconsin Steel and retired from Calumet City Public Works, after 21 years of loyal service. He was an avid guitar player, who was a very passionate musician. Giulio was a hard worker and put that effort and love into his gardening. He loved his family with all his heart and was very proud of them. Giulio had many friends and family all over the world that loved him. He was loved by everyone.
