Gloria A. Romani, 76 of Dyer, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Reno; son, William (Patricia) Romani; daughter, Linda (Thomas) Morales; grandchildren, Patrick, Gina, Caitlin and Matthew; father, Nicholas Palhegyi; brother, Walter (Carol) Palhegyi; sisters, June (Balbo) Restaino and Diane Kish; several nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her mother, Anne Palhegyi. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and on Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 440 Joliet St Dyer, IN. Entombment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Gloria retired from the South Holland Library with over 25 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Diabetes Association in her memory would be appreciated.
