Greta Inge Howard (nee) Vanman, age 88 of Schererville, IN, passed away on February 23, 2017. Beloved mother of Tom (Tami), Pam and Marty (Sheryl) Howard. Cherished grandmother of Brian and Erik Vaundry and Sarah and Robert Howard. Proud great grandmother of Connor and Allie. Dear sister of Erik Vanman and the late Tove Morrow. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Earl Howard. Greta was born in Denmark and was very proud of her American citizenship. She was a flight attendant for SAS and was a longtime member of Lincolnshire Country Club. She enjoyed golf, tennis and bridge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1st from 3 until 8 p.m. at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN. Inurnment at Elbridge Township Cemetery in Michigan will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
