Harry Carroll Jr., 82, of Schererville, IN passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Darla Carroll; daughters, Deborah (Marc) Goodman, Kelly Carroll and Karen (Robert) Williams; grandchildren, Erin, Matthew, Bob, Elena, Jasmine and Luca; preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hilma Carroll; brothers, Harold and Howard Carroll. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 5:00-6:30 PM with a Funeral service at 6:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated. Harry served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Inland Steel and was a member of the American Legion Post 485. Harry was a tenured member of the Pittsburg Pirates Booster Club, Spring Training Camp, FL.
