Helen Krull

July 10, 1921 - November 14, 2010

Helen Krull, 89, of Munster, IN formerly of Whiting, IN passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2010. She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Phyllis) Krull Jr. of Munster, IN and Kevin (Gloria) Krull of South Bend, IN; daughter, Karen Krull of Redondo Beach, CA.; grandchildren, Tara (Matthew) Poteraj of Chicago, IL, Erin (Richard) Novak of Munster, IN, Gretchen Krull of Los Angeles, CA and Bridget Krull of London, England; great grandchildren, Thomas Novak, Richard Novak and Emily Poteraj; sisters, Kathryn Ackroyd and Bernadette McHenry both of New Jersey; preceded in death by her husband Thomas Krull Sr. in 1988; parents, Thomas and Kathryn Gillespie. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 3:30 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN and Friday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church. Entombment will be at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Helen was a long time active member of St. John the Baptist Church in Whiting, IN and a long time fundraiser for Bishop Noll Institute. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. John the Baptist School Endowment Fund, Bishop Noll Institute, or the SHARE Foundation in her memory would be appreciated.
