Helen M. Lewandowski, 97, of Lowell, IN passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. She is survived by her step daughters; Marchell (Robert) Barkey, Colette (late Linda Fry) Lewandowski; nieces, Susan (Aaron) Harris and Nancy (Tom) Poznick, nephew; John (Ann) Sorota Jr.; good friend Barbara Diggs. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Norbert L. Lewandowski; parents; John and Mary Sorota; and brother John (late Judy) Sorota.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Church 8501 Calumet Avenue, Munster, IN. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 11:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Mass.
Helen proudly worked at Union Carbide for numerous years while volunteering at Community Hospital. In her spare time, Helen enjoyed golfing.
