Helen Mannion, age 94, of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Mannion; loving mother of Gregory E. (Marilynn) Mannion and Allen J. (Beth) Mannion; cherished sister of Irene (late Raymond) Fary of Munster, IN, late Jeanette Jakubas of Highland, IN and late Walter (Lydia) Jakubas of Hammond, IN; and proud grandmother of Ashley, Bryan and Brandyn Mannion. Helen was born on March 2, 1923 in Calumet City, IL and was a longtime resident and member of St. Thomas More Church in Munster, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial offered by Reverend Jordan Fetcko. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be on Wednesday at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again at the church, on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Vigil Service at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Helen’s name to the American Heart Association.
