During her life, Helen received a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She was a proud member of the Philippine Professionals Association (PPA) where she created lifelong friendships. Early in her career, Helen worked as a teacher and when her children were born, she decided to focus full-time on raising Julius and Eileen and supporting Jose’s work. She managed her household with dedication, love, and passion and no matter the situation always looked put together and polished.
Helen was a devout Catholic, attending daily Mass at the Carmelite Monastery, St. James the Less, or St. Thomas More. She enjoyed reading the Bible daily and participating in weekly Bible study. Her faith was a very important aspect of her, and she lived as a true follower of Christ throughout her daily life , very often offering her prayers for others.
Helen was a very special grandmother. “Lola” loved and adored her grandchildren Bella, Addison, and Julius (J.J). They were her pride and joy and she always found ways to surprise them. Her generosity knew no bounds. She will be missed dearly by her loving family, and the many people whose lives she had touched throughout the years.
