Henrietta attended St. Mary Magdelene grammar school and Bowen High School. She was employed at South Shore Hospital and ended her career at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. She was a very generous and loving person. Her family meant the world to her. Traveling was a wonderful way for her to spend quality time with family and friends. She enjoyed cruises, Florida, and Vegas. She was always up for a short trip to Michigan or to a soccer or volleyball game for one of her many great nieces or nephews. Her favorite hobbies were knitting, crocheting, and especially baking. Her baking satisfied many a “sweet tooth”.
Auntie “Yetta” and her “sweet treats” and hugs will be greatly missed. But her wit and love of family will live on forever in our hearts. Thanks for sharing your full and wonderful life with all of us. We would like to thank St. Anthony’s Nursing Home and Dunes Hospice for their care and attention to our aunt during these last years of her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025 at St. Thomas More Church 8501 Calumet Ave Munster, IN with Fr. Yadron officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery Calumet City, IL.
