Hilda Kline (nee Van Huis) age 84, of Dyer IN, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Earl Kline. Together they founded Kline’s Service Center in Hammond, IN in 1968. She loved sewing, cooking, playing cards and square-dancing with friends, and water-skiing with her sons and grandchildren. She is survived by her brother, Joe Van Huis and sisters Teresa Hoker, Sandy Austin, Corky Bolhouse, Winnie Van Huis and Babe Smailis. She was a loving mother to Edward (Cheryl) Kline of Hebron, IN, and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren and eight (soon to be nine) great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Billy Kline and Tommy Kline, and her brothers Johnny and Jake and sisters Grace and Joan. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 PM with a service at 4:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN
