Howard F. Zelenka, 92 of Lansing, IL passed away on Sunday,
April 30, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia
Zelenka (nee Connolly); daughters, Deborah (Patrick) Knightly
and Margaret (Rich) DiVito; grandchildren, Bridget (Brendan)
Curran, Megan (Dustin) Winebrenner, Sean Knightly, Emma
DiVito and Philip DiVito; great grandchildren, Kellan, Nieve,
Ronan, Beau, Jude and Mack.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May
9, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Ann Church, 3010 Ridge Road,
Lansing, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am at the
church.
Howard was a retired Chicago Fireman stationed in Beverly
(Engine 121, Truck 40). He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed
fishing in Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a
charity of your choice in his memory would be appreciated.
