Irene A. Barron, 87, of Dyer, IN passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009. She is survived by her daughter: Beverly Matovina; granddaughter: Ann Marie Matovina; nieces: Carolyn (Frank) Hammond and Arlene (Bob) Timonen; nephews: Don and Bob Juhasz; sister in law: Lee Juhasz; preceded in death by her husband: Ted Barron; parents: Peter and Rose Juhasz; brothers: Elmer and Albert Juhasz; sister: Rose Cannon; great niece: Kelly Lynn O’Brien. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2:00-7:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave (next to Fitness Pointe) Munster, IN and Monday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Dr. Dyer, IN. Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Irene was the owner of Ted Barron Furniture and a member of Briar Ridge Country Club. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Jennifer S. Fallick Cancer Support Center, 2028 Elm Rd. Homewood, IL 60430 or a charity of your choice in her memory would be appreciated. Irene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
