So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. He was such a nice guy and one of the first people to greet me when I was hired at Thornridge High School. Pete said to me something I never forgot and related to everybody when I spoke at my retirement breakfast in 2011. He said, "Just remember...I grew old here." In essence, time moves fast so make sure you're happy doing what you do. Pete always treated me so nice and I even so his advice on a few occasions, his sage ol' wisdom. Simply stated, Pete was a good man. Rest in peace my friend...you lived a good life.

I am sorry to learn of Uncle Pete's death as well as Aunt Marge's. I never got to know him well as he married Aunt Marge and moved away when I was little. I remember Grandpa Jensen watching the football games when Pete played for the University of Missouri. Everyone was proud of Uncle Pete. I even found some old football magazines when I was cleaning out my mom's (Virginia Jensen) house a couple of years back. I am glad he and Aunt Marge had a long and happy life together. Best wishes Edith Jensen Westerod
