Jack W. Forsythe, 84 of Munster, IN passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009. He is survived by his wife: Margaret (nee Nelson); daughter: Holly Cummings of Munster, IN; son: Stuart Forsythe of Reno, NV; grandchildren: Erin and Samuel Cummings of Munster, IN, Daniel Forsythe of Hawaii; brother: Charles E. (Millie) Forsythe of Maryland; sisters: Rosemary El Bakri and Ruth (William) Gurdian both of Indiana; preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Frances Forsythe; granddaughters: Janel and Audrey Cummings. Private funeral services were held at the request of the decedent. Interment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ridge United Methodist Church or the Humane Society of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciated. Jack served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired Insurance Adjuster with over 40 years of service.
