James J. Kaczka, 69 of Munster, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Jennifer (Erik) Hendrickson; son, James (Kayla) Kaczka Jr.; grandchildren, Hailey, Harper, Charlie, and Mila; sister, Mary Kaczka cousin, Paul Chiki, and many loving members of The Cox Family. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Frances Kaczka.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service at 3:30 pm at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. and on Tuesday from 11:30-12:00 at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 12:00 pm at St. Thomas More Church, Munster, IN. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Jim was a man of good values and Faith. He was an extremely proud Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. Jim was dedicated to volunteering and actively involved at St. Thomas More Church, the Knights of Columbus who will have a prayer service at 6:00 pm, and his Purdue University fraternity Phi Kappa Theta. Jim ran for Munster Town Council twice, and was actively involved in local precinct activities. He loved all things Purdue especially basketball and football, he enjoyed golfing, tinkering around the house, gardening, staying up on all current events and summer evenings on his deck. Jim will be missed tremendously. In lieu of flowers, donation to Parkinson’s Foundation or Alzheimer’s Association.
