James M. Grisham, of Dyer, IN passed away on June 4, 2025 following a valiant battle with a failed lung transplant.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Christina (Jason) Cooper; his three grandchildren: Colin Mauch, Braiden Cooper and Aowynn Cooper; and his sister, Rosemarie “Ree” Grisham. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Hulett) Grisham; his daughter, Jaclyn (Nicholas) Mauch; and his parents, Walter and Rose Marie Grisham.

Visitation will be at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 pm with a Memorial Service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Respiratory Health Association resphealth.org/tribute or Dyer United Methodist Church.

My condolences to Jim's family. I accompanied Jim to Northwestern Hospital several times. Jim was a brave gentleman. We had great conversations during our travels. I am happy for him. Prayers have been said for Jim as far away as Ireland. Rest in peace Jim.
