James T. Dixon, 81 of Munster, IN formerly of Lansing, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Beloved husband for 62 years of Dorothy (nee Weidig); loving father of Sandi (Mark) DeVries and Thom (Debbie) Dixon; cherished grandfather of Skyler, Matthew, Mary, Melissa and Abby; proud great grandfather of Noah, Oscar, Vincent, Lucas and Elliot; devoted brother of Helen (Warren) Harry; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN. Friends may visit with the family after the service from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Jim was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lansing, IL. He retired from IBM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Lansing in his memory would be appreciated.
