Matt and family... I am so sorry to read about your loss of Jen. Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may seem sometimes insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1). Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences. JW.org

May I offer my sincere condolences to the Adams family for your loss. Losing a loved one is very difficult. Lovingly, the Bible assures us that God sees our pain and promises a beautiful future where he will "swallow up death" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8). For additional comfort during your bereavement, please see the article "When a Loved One Dies" on jw.org. May you find comfort in our Heavenly Father's promises.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We want to extend to Jen's family and friends our sincerest and deepest sympathy in this enormous loss of a lady who truly touched every single person she came in contact with, in such a special and unique way. Jen talked so highly and with such love about her sons and husband. It was a pleasure to hear and see how proud she was of all of you! We were Blessed to have Jen as my son Michael's, teacher, mentor, role model, and one of the most supportive people in our life! Jen was the most caring, compassionate, hard working, kind-hearted lady that you could ever have the pleasure of being around. With Jen's tireless effort and guidance for all of her students, there was never a time when she didn't make the kids feel empowered, courageous, and comfortable that they could accomplish anything---all things!! The respect and kindness she always showed her students was amazing!! Her wonderful way of understanding and being so supportive of her students and their families was priceless! Jen's sincere kindness and warmth in all that she did, shone through like a ray of sunshine! Thank You, JenAnn, for showing my son in life how it should be done---with genuine warmth and compassion because of the relentless commitment you showed him in all that you did!! All who knew you--- will miss you so much, Jen. We are all broken-hearted over your loss, but you will never be forgotten! We are grateful and thankful for having the blessing of you in our life! We love you and may you rest in peace. God Bless.

I think my favorite memory of Mrs. Adams was actually a span of every single morning at Munster High School. From freshman year, through the end of my Junior year, she was never not there. She greeted me every morning with a smile, no matter what was going on in her life. She would chat with me and help quiz me when I was panicking over little tests or even finals. She had such a caring soul and I've witnessed her help so many children achieve success - the success they deserve... it's really hard for me to imagine her not being there for all the kids she's helped, and for the staff at MHS. I've never been more honored than I am to know her and say that she was a part of my journey at Munster High School. We've lost a true asset - a gem in a world that needs so many more people like her. We were truly blessed.

I was a student of Mrs. Adams. She was an incredible teacher. I became pregnant my freshman year of highschool, and immediately, mrs adams set everything in place for me to graduate. She made it possible. She bent over backwards to make sure i succeeded. Even in her final days, she emailed me from the hospital about my progress. When i walk at my commencement this sunday, ill think of her the entire time, and how she convinced me i could earn this on days where i had no other support, sleep, or will to push through. Munster High School will not have another educator like this.

I think my fondest memory of Mrs. Adams is that every memory is fond. She had the precious gift of being able to connect with everyone in a completely authentic way. She dedicated her life, both inside and outside of school, to helping struggling students find success. She believed in students when they couldn’t find the courage to believe in themselves. With her guidance, they were able to accomplish their educational goals, to find a direction for their lives, and to find the voice within themselves. Jen practiced what she imparted to students. She always sought solutions in face of difficulties, and she treated every student and staff member like family. The profundity of her loss is only eclipsed by the enormity of her contribution.
