Greenwood, IN Jeremy Paul Hacker, MD, age 36, of Greenwood, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Born in East Chicago, IN to Joseph and Linda Hacker. Jeremy graduated from the University of Indianapolis, where he played baseball and was on the team that went to the NCAA Division II World Series in 2000. Jeremy Graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed residencies in Grand Rapids, MI, Indiana University Hospital-Indianapolis, IN and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, TN. He was an Anesthesiologist with Pioneer Anesthesia Consultants. Jeremy also volunteered with Operation Walk in Guatemala where he provided anesthesia services. He was a 1997 graduate of Lake Central High School. Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Melissa; children, Aidan James and Sage Allyn; step-daughter, Makena Leigh Wallace; brother, Michael Sean Hacker (Christa); sister, Jennifer Lynn Johnson (Ryan); and nieces and nephew, Kaitlyn, Stephen and Josie. A Celebration of Life will held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN with Deacon Jim Renwick, officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) to 4:00 p.m. This past Tuesday, November 10, 2015 a Celebration of Jeremy’s Life was held in Indianapolis, IN.
