Jerry Wolkowitz, 80, passed away on Sept. 26, 2023. He was born in Moberly, Missouri and lived in St. Louis, Union Pier, Michigan, and most recently would split his time between Michigan City, Indiana and Fort Myers, Florida.
Jerry was an Eagle Scout and a Vietnam Veteran and received his chemical engineering degree from the University of Missouri. He worked his entire career at Anheuser-Busch until his retirement in 2001. Jerry loved reading, golf, “Law & Order,” “Seinfeld,” “Blue Bloods,” the Beatles, Lady Gaga, chocolate covered orange peels and cherry pie. He was kind and generous and had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was the ultimate “girl dad” long before the term was coined – always rooting, cheering and supporting his girls. He is survived by his wife Cindy of 51 years, daughters Erin Swinson (Bill), Quincy Shields (Brady) and his grandchildren, Elliot, Porter, Oliver and William, his sisters Marian Embree (Dee) and Sarah Murphy (Larry), his nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sadie.
