Jillian A. Tsirtsis, age 33, of Chicago, IL, passed away Thursday September 3, 2015. She is survived by her parents, Marino and Dawn Tsirtsis; loving brothers, Michael (Vicki) Tsirtsis, Alexander (Tarin) Tsirtsis, and Jason Tsirtsis; grandfathers, George Tsirtsis and Timothy Etter; and her loving niece, Mila Tsirtsis. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Anastasia Tsirtsis and Marcia Etter. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 7021 Hohman Ave. Hammond, IN, with the. Father David Bissias, officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Hammond, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2015 at Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN from 2:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m., with a Trisagion service at 7:00 p.m. Jillian was a beautiful artistic woman that had an ever burning fire for life. She had a passion for writing, music, and the people she loved. Every member of her loving family and every friend she ever made, became better people for having her in their lives. Every day moving forward the world will become a better place if we keep her in our hearts and the front of our thoughts. Thank you for being a part of who we are, and will love you always.
